JKATS — Jack Knife and the Sharps — have been a Minnesota institution since 1980, led by guitarist and vocalist Ric Hollister. Blending rockabilly, country, blues, swing, and surf into an irresistible cocktail of good-time music, JKATS are multiple Minnesota Music Awards winners who’ve shared the stage with Dwight Yoakam, The Stray Cats, and Jerry Jeff Walker. They even appeared on Garrison Keillor’s Grammy Award-winning Prairie Home Companion 25th Anniversary album.
